Things are not improving after all. It turns out Bush Hog did not tell the dealer they would take it back. Apparently the guy was telling me what I wanted to hear just to get me off the phone.

OK, I'm stuck with the BH M246. I tried to make a deal to trade for a NH 7308 with the dealer over a week ago. I talked to the owner of the dealership and he said he was going to have someone call me back with a price, which included the cost of the installation and removal of the M246 and then the cost of the 7308 installed, but that was over a week ago now and no one has called. I'm tired of trying to deal with them. So, any ideas on how to sell the M246? I'm willing to sell it cheap. This might be a good loader for someone, but it's just not for me. It fits a TC25/29/33 and I'm pretty sure it fits a TC30 (but not positive).

If you are willing to sell it cheap, why not trade it in to a different dealer for a new 7308?

Other options include classifieds here on TBN, maybe somebody with a bigger tractor would be interested.

I agree with hazmat. I'd call another NH dealer, tell 'em about your situation and ask about a trade.

Don't give up yet.. call them.. since it's the summer.. people are on vacation.. etc.. The owner seems to have given the situation his okay.. give them a call.. tell them you've been waiting a week for there return call.. you're almost at the finish line.. hopefully it'll work out and you won't have to flush you hard earned $ down the tube... hang in there!

Unfortunately, mounting it on "a bigger tractor" or any other tractor will require a diifferent mounting kit or someone who is good with a torch and welder. I have no idea what Bush Hog would charge for a mounting kit to put it on a different tractor than it's on now. This loader will work on the tractor size/model it's on now, but the buyer needs to be aware it is a much heavier loader than the NH 7308, so the tractor will be much heavier.

I'll talk to some other NH dealers, but there aren't many in this area and the next closest one is not a Bush Hog dealer, so I'm not sure they'll be interested. Worth a try though I guess.

Persistence Danny! Keep after your dealer for some sort of deal. At the same time, check any and all other local and semi-local possibilities. Other NH dealers and other Bush Hog dealers. How about used implement dealers?

BTW, I saw your loader at our county fair on a large frame Case CUT. Seemed to fit well but I cannot image it on a tractor your size. Definitely a beefy loader. Oddly enough, the mid and small frame Case tractors on display had Case/NH loaders /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
