When lowering 200cx quickly sounds like air leakage

I am not sure if i heard this noise before or not so i figured i would ask you guys. When I raise the loader and drop it quickly (but not into float) I hear a what sounds like loud air leak just under my right foot inside the coupling hook up. When i drop it slowly i don't hear it. So i can't recall if that air dis pursing noise before or not. So i am wondering if that is normal to hear that or is there something wrong????

The sound you hear is probably cavitation.

Here is what Wiki says.

Cavitation can occur in control valves. If the upstream pressure is just above the vapour pressure, then it is possible that the pressure will drop below the vapour pressure as the fluid flows through the valve. If the pressure recovers after the valve to a pressure that is once again above the vapor pressure, then cavitation will occur

Does it sound like the power steering noise in a car/truck when at the end of travel?

ohhh good... I just haven't used it for some time and when i jumped on it sounded just a bit loud.. Thanks guys

The temp of the fluid could make a difference.

J J .. the noise sounds exactly like a air hose leak or when you let air out of a tire type.
