The title caught my attention. When I was in my teens I helped a rancher for a day who built his own tractors from model A Fords. His favorite joke was referring to the instruction manual when one had problems.

I built one of mine--Almost from scratch. I used the engine, hood, dash, front axle and seat from a Kubota G3200. The rear axle and hydrostatic transmission was from something I can't remember. I extended the hood and made everything else.

This is the frame going together.
