The term "service animal" seems to be abused lately... which will make it harder for those who have legitimate needs for a trained animal. Ironically I had just read an article Misuse, misunderstanding create troublesome gray area in service dog law, before clicking on this thread.
The article also states that "emotional support animals" are not considered service animals... also that dogs and miniature horses qualify.
