when to recheck valves

I got my YM1610d with 512 hrs about month ago, changed all oils, even the oils looked very clean, (with orig.jap filters) changed fuel lines with filter with Oring and the cup. The machine starts and run perfect. My question is how often I have to check the valves for proper set? (0.006 cold right ??) Thank you guys !

Manual for a 220/226 says every 300 hours. Right on the .006".
