I sometimes wonder about folks who seem to be a little too attached to their favorite tractor.
One of my neighbors always referrs to his tractor as "My Baby." Another has his entire farm adorned in JD plaques, signs, flags, etc. I like my tractor, but I refer to it as "the tractor" and only have a little JD tractor keychain the dealer gave me last year.
So what's the worse case of tractor love you've seen?

My wife would say that would be me. All the hats, key chains, DVD's. I like to stop at all the dealerships between here and anywhere when we go on vacation. It's not just tractors I have to share the love with my Gravely.

We were just in Jackson county on Saturday visiting my in-law's.

Historically, tractors have been an indespensable piece of equipment on the farm. Without them, the farm would cease to be.
Its not just tractors. People can develope an "unnatural" affection for anything they depend on. My wife and I have been into off roading. People in off roading have the same affection for their vehicles.

Oh, nice WV theme we have going here.

If you have to shovel snow, dirt and manure by hand, a certain fondness develops between a man and his tractor that will do 99% of that hard labor for him. I can understand the love factor.
I don't understand the tractor novelties plastered all over everything from toilet seats to coffee cups. I guess we all have our afflictions.

Not much to say about the tractor "love" but thought I would add to the WV theme :D

If you buy a B2630 with a back hoe and rear remotes to clear snow for your 1/8 acre, because you can't always get up into the mountains to be with the L3830, your "tractor love" may have gone too far.

If the pictures you post of you and your tractors get reported to moderators and removed, it definitely has gone too far.

I have a theory that most, if not all, people spend too much time and/or money doing something that 99% of the rest of world think is silly.
This applies to boats, beanie-babies, travelling, as well as tractors.
