When using a front snow blade, is it better to have extra weight on the rear or not?

It sure would be handy when you eventually get it stuck in a snow bank:thumbsup:

There are many threads of people using a tire grooving tool on R4's for use in snow.

Leave it on! Without my weight box, with a 300lb plow on the front of my loader arms, the rear is too light for much traction. You want those rears to be planted. Front chains can help with plow push, maybe even traction, but aren't required. I have seen that some folks feel like they can harm the front drive system components, but that's not a given.
