when was the last you leveled your cub!

I posted about this before.I have the 2180 o4 model.I never leveled the mowing deck when it left the dealer.took it for granted.I would read post about the cub cadet cut,and how bad it was,and noticed it my self.well I wanted the that even carpet cut spent $6.50 on a john deere level gage to measure the blades,and level the deck! It is a must, if you have a cub level your mowing deck. even if it is brand spanking new.I bet money that lowes or even some dealer don't take the time to level the deck.It makes cutting your lawn a pleasure!and you are rewarded with a golden cut!

I agree that the leveling is critical for a clean cut....its a hassle but so is leaving a strip of clippings, or a row of uncut grass when things are out of balance.....

The tell tale sign when you nailed the leveling is a smooth level cut, and no clippings...its a nice feeling after all the work to make it right...

We've three different Cub Cadets from Lowes and dealer and all three weren't level. One was horrible. I had gotten that Deere gauge too and it saves alot of hassle.
