There are classes in chainsaw racing where they use two stroke MX engines with the gearbox cut off and adapted to a bar. Even a 250cc MX engine can make 50hp or more. That's got to be difficult to hold on to. Then there are the two man v8 saws but I think those are for exhibition.

Stihl makes a new chainsaw sharpener made for dummies. I am a dummy, and this thing sharpens the chain as well as the kerf at the same time. I took the muffler apart on my stihl 311 and my 034 super and basically gutted it and opened the exit of the exhaust. LOT more power. You have to adjust the idle a bit. I bought a cheap digital tachometer and wrapped the wire around the spark plug wire. 12500 rpm is the goal at WOT. Idle is close to 1000. Once I got that done I add a bit more oil to my non-ethanol fuel just for sake of my mind and both saws rip through 20 inch red oak in around 30 seconds. The sharpener makes it sharp enough to cut my finger when I ran it over the tooth. Like I said, I am a dummy. I can take a picture of everything if you would like, I just need a bit of time to do it.
