Where are the boys?

Sitting on the beach at Gulf Shores and I have a question.

Where are all the little boys?

Dads are here. But they all have little girls with them. Out of the hundred or two pre-teens I have noticed today I've seen only four little boys!

Dads are fishing, little girls with them. Dads throwing footballs to girls. Etc., etc..

As the daddy of daughters and the grandaddy of granddaughters I know I notice the little girls more but there are no little boys here.

NONE!!

What is going on?

Years ago I'd say that the boys were at cub scouts, baseball practice, soccer practice, riding their bikes and so on. Now days, using my family for example, my granddaughters are more outdoor types than my grandsons. PS2 and Xbox has the boys indoors. When they are with me, I kick them off them things. Their parents (yes, my kids) however, don't seem to understand my concerns.

I've noticed there are very few boys anywhere for several years now. I have 6 grandaughters and my brother has 3 grandaughters...no boys.

Everywhere I go, there are mostly girls.

I think the hormones from all the birth control pills are getting in the drinking water and killing off all the boy causing chromosomes.

I married the seventh consecutive sister in a family that lost their dad when they were young. Have two sisters and no brothers myself... I did get blessed with a son and daughter but now three grand daughters. I'm wondering the same. Are us guys becoming rare?

The boys are inside playing video games. We've noticed the same thing. Not enough boys to fill out sports teams. Girls teams are full.

I bet the dads were happy no boys were around!
My daughter is almost 5, not looking forward to the day boys start coming around to see or hang out with her. However my son is almost 7 so boys will be around to play anyway.
