Where are the boys?

My son was born in South Boston, MA, a Boston neighborhood. Taking the local Catholic school and local elementary schools, his class was 34 boys and 8 girls.

My daughter's class for 8 years of grade school was 12 girls and one boy. That kid didn't mind....

She was also in a history class in high school with 24 boys and she was the only girl. She used it as an opportunity to enforce her theory that "Boys are dumb".

At the beginning of my 8th grade (last year) one girl and 15 boys. Then a bunch of girls returned

In my church confirmation class (41 years ago when I was in 7th grade) it was 11 girls... and me! :) The minister that led the class (now in his 80's) still remembered that (and chuckled about it!) when I saw him a year ago.

Boys go to Jupiter to get even stupider."

Had one dad bring two little boys to the beach this morning. It was about 85 degrees. They all had on long sleeves and barely got in the water. They left after about thirty minutes. To say the boys, about five and seven, were timid is an understatement. The dad had his hair in a bun on top of his head.

This afternoon another couple brought three boys to the water. They were probably six to ten years old. Took both laughing parents to keep them out of trouble. More like boys ought to be. If possible they were more active than my six year old granddaughter and she wore me out keeping up with her. "Grandaddy please", is hard to turn down.
