Where can you buy Kubota tools?

You could use real thin plactic to do the same thing with. Must be a sharp edge you have to go over with the seal.

If you buy it, I sure would like to see a picture of it.
I checked with the local dealer and the tool number was superseded with a kit that cost $596. The dealer could probably do the whole job for less than that. It takes three hours labor to do the complete repair.

I emailed tractorsmart.com and they advised the tool number has been substituted with the kit at a cost of $541.78. I was having trouble justifying $138 for a one time use tool, but having to buy the kit is just over the top. Someone gave me the name of a Kubota mechanic that does house calls. Even if he charges $100 to come the house and install the sleeve it would be cheaper than buying just the tool.

If you're just looking for a seal driving tool take a look at some of the companies (like OTC) that make tools for the auto industry. I have an OEM Toyota set for the mid 80's 4x4 pickup. I find the set usually has a size close enough to work in almost any application. But I think even a cheap set from Harbor freight would also work just as well.
