Everyone in Western Pa already bought their LS.:laughing:My G3033 was 13,100,purchased in Oct 2011,with FEL and grill guard. Also added BH,6' finish mower, and snowplow.Yes I'm taking credit for limited amount of snow around here,if I had'nt bought it we would have tons of snow.Love my 3033,be prepaired to "pimp you tractor".I added front and rear ROPs lights, tool box holder with ammo cans, and the absolute necessity,a cup holder.GOOD LUCK!

dodger, how about posting some pics of the lights and tool box install. I've been considering those mods myself. Oh, my R3039 came with a cup holder as standard equipment:D.

Per the thread title: I am in Algeria, North Africa listening to it rain (mostly), sleet and snow(occassionally) and wondering what the heck I am doing here. I thought this would be a little warmer than home, but that is not the case. We have even had delays in scheduled shop visits due to ice and snow closing airports and road. Well hopefully I can get back home in about another month. I'm sure my tractor and dog miss me. I hope the wife does too.

That is a deal. I am kicking myself for not buying the b/h with my tractor. I have found so many chores around my place that I could have used it on. Oh well, guess I'll rent one or hire someone.

Gary, watch out for those bot flies. Is the weather getting any better?

If it's any consolation Gary, the weather has been real wet (around here and I assume up there in Arkansas) lately so you probably wouldn't be getting in much seat time if you were home. While it's better than the drought conditions, the mud is not nice when it comes to skidding all the dead trees.

You'll find out just how much the wife missed you when you see the list of "honey dos" she has for you when to get back. Be safe over there.

The jet stream giveth and the jet stream taketh away.

I went down the hill to cut one more tree for this year's mushroom logs. While I was at it, the sky opened up. Had to lock the rear diff to get Mr. Blue back to his tent.

I took my R3039 out yesterday just to drive it around. I thought the ground was a little more frozen than it actually was. Also had about 5" of snow on the ground. Of course I got down the hill ok and messed around a bit. Then when I headed back up the hill the fun began. R4 tires are not the best on muddy ground. Well 4wd and diff-lock got me back to the shed without too much turf damage. I'm going to let the tractor sit until Spring and the ground dries out. It was fun to get a little seat time.
