Where do I find the serial number on a B6000?

I wonder if you could just buy a yoke for the smaller PTO shaft and use it instead of the standard one...

I see no reason why you cannot just change the yoke. My woods has the smaller one on it now and I plan on putting the larger one on to fit the new tractor. It may take a little research and parts matching, but I se no reason why you can't make it work.

Ooooo, oooo, Kent. One more thing. when you get your ROPS could you post pics of the mounting points.
be good to know the strong places to mount stuff, well the places that Kubota feels are stong enought to withstand the force of a rollover.
thanks

No problem with posting pics of the ROPS. It should be delivered to the dealer in about a week. In my continuing research, I've found that Hub City has different PTO spline adapters available, including some that don't increase the PTO shaft length, plus over-running clutches:

Now I just have to figure out what the PTO spline size/number is on my B6000, and ask them if the over-running clutch will still work when spinning backwards...

Here you go

dont think an ORC will work in reverse, isnt it like a ratchet?

Aha, Mith, we're making progress now! Hub City has a 31/32" X 10 Female Spline to 1-3/8" X 6 Male Spline Adapter that's 2-1/4" long, specifically for IHC Cub and Kubota tractors. Part number is 0332-00355

It just slides over the existing PTO shaft and doesn't make it any longer -- which wouldn't change the geometry of the PTO shaft to the implement.

I'm afraid you're likely right about the over-running coupler, but their catalog says you can special order... it's worth a try!

I don't know the cost, yet. I'm going to check with a regional sales rep.

Just thinking, what do you need the over running clutch for. Are you certain you need to use it on the B6000, i dont have one, to my knowlege anyway, and nothing adverse happens.
Just make sure before you buy.
Maybe Gary knows......
