Where do you get your Scrap metal?

I get my scrap out of the rolloff I have on the back of my tractor trailer.......I'm a scraphauler by day and a farmer at other times.

Nobel Metals in Oak Ridge TN, 30 cents a pound for steel
1.30 for aluminium and stainless. They'll also buy your scrap but did'nt ask the rate.

Welded my clamp on forks today, as a first ever welding job, they aint purty, but they are strong enough to lift the rear wheels if the load is too much.

Thanks guys! Sounds like some great leads. I'm not near Seattle (or VA) but I do have some scrap dealers in the area that I will have to try in a little while. I'd go sooner, but I blew all of my "play money" yesterday on SJOW AWG 16/3 cord for rewiring my trailer, tractor, etc. It was under $0.14/ft. They actually had a bunch of 1/4" flat stock steel, but no angle iron. Plus, I was in the car at the time and I really didn't want to strap the 12ft. sections to the top for the 30 mile drive back home.
