I have a 40' X 60' steel building. Half of it is heated/ 30' X 40'. 20150116_184020.jpgThe JD has never stayed outside. It put it in the un-heated side a couple of times and you can notice the difference. Since then it has always stayed in the heated side along with the Gator20140927_122952.jpg20150116_183949.jpg

Hey oldtimer, thats a nice deere you have. (and chains).
Here's a friendly suggestion for you, why don't you put a piece of angle iron at the back (bottom) of your bucket, I see it's curved, and this would make a nice "back blade" using your bucket flat.

Our 5055 stays in a high cube conex until I can get a shop built. House ended up costing more than originally planned so the shop funds went to a full viking kitchen for my bride

My Kubota L4240 HSTC stays in a heated two car garage. I mounted a 42 inch LED smart TV on my Kubota toolbox so my tractor can watch RFD on those long winter nights:cool2:

You fellas who store a tractor heated, do you have trouble with snow sticking/icing to warm metal when you plow/blow? Or does the engine warmup period give the steel time to cool off?

I have never noticed. Some times I will pull the tractor outside and let it warm up. In that amount of time the snow blower would be at air temperature. Does it collect more snow from being warm, I
cannot tell.

Reason I asked, when I store my walk-behind heated it seems to get iced up in the scoop and chute quicker. Maybe I need to let it cool off before getting into the snow.

When Johnny was new he used to sleep up in the unheated barn, but that's is up a long cold icy hill. Now he stays just outside of the kitchen window on a switched plug with block, battery and rad heaters. At -30c it only takes 1/2 to warm up. No cab, but a plywood roof over the seat and wheel. The roof holds the work lights and radio, roof supports hold the thermos holder, chain saw holsters and gun rack....

In my shop but I'm going to have to invest in some garage exhaust hose as it smokes pretty bad when first started.
