Where have you seen the best fireworks in your life ?

Houston Livstock Show and Rodeo, we found a place in a private parking lot right outside the Astordome parking lot, a very short distance from where they were launched. Each year they did the program to music broadcast on a local FM station. We were so close everyone had to look straight up. Only drawback was the fallout!

Seriously, I've never been anywhere like Hawaii for 4th of July. Not only are the fireworks shows huge, but the locals go all out also. There's really no way to describe it unless you've been there to see it.

Neighborhood bottle rocket wars in the early 80's. Nothing like a little fear and adrenalin mixed in with your fireworks. Oddly enough we (the combatants) still have both eyes and all 10 fingers and toes!

A little piece of pipe a tad bigger than the bottle rocket and you had yourself a sniper rifle But, I would not know anything about that

In 1976, at Battery Park n.y. Took a train ride the night before. Myself, some friends and 5-6 million strangers watched the sky over Liberty Island from that small park on the southern tip of Manhattan. It was a different world then.

That day was also the first time I stood in front of the World Trade Center buildings, they were impressive..oh yeah, so were the fire works..

Atlas Pyrotechnic puts on one of the best fireworks demonstrations in a little town called Jaffery, NH. About the thrid weekend in August there is a fireworks display that is synchronized to music. The display they put on is usually a part of the display Atlas uses when they compete internationally.

It is awesome.

Well I was on the Charles in Boston in 1976 with the Author Fielder and the Boston Pops, But in 1986 I worked for the Marriott Longwarf hotel & the barge was right in front of the hotel in the river. I watched the entire display from the roof 8 stories up. It was like being inside the display. I was even ducking from the bursts. It was clearly the best show I have ever seen

1972? Not sure of year. On a missile monitor ship off Kamchatka. Just after midnight watching the re-entry of a Russian multiple warhead missile test shot. Seemed like 1/2 the sky lit up from burning junk.
