Where in the US can I get a trailer cheap???

any thoughts on Pequea trailers in PA? They seem like a good outfit. Not all that cheap though.
I was wondering about them also. I think if you find the right dealer you may get a decent price for the quality. It appears to me none of this stuff is moving much right now.

A somewhat lower priced trailer available in PA is:
Equipment Trailers
My neighbor has one of their gooseneck tri-axles and is satisfied, hauls 2 medium size tractors on it, 2 race cars, etc. Not the greatest paint and all, but appears to be built strong enough.

As you've found out, trailers here in Upstate are expensive. I shopped around most every dealer within 50 miles. I watched the Swap Sheet, Ebay, Craigslist, and the local paper for about a year but could not find what I wanted in my price range. I ended up buying a 20' H&H tiltbed trailer in PA. It has 84" between the removable fenders. My cost down and back for fuel, a meal stop, and the trailer was over $1000 less than a comparable trailer alone here. Mine is only a 7K trailer but I don't usually haul more than that. I had a 12K Appalachian 24' gooseneck for a while but sold it due to my lack of use. I was satisfied with the quality of their trailer as well. I'll send you a PM with other info.

I am a dealer and I carry 4 lines of trailers...
Ringo Hill
Doo Little
Belmont
Bri Mar
Belmont and Bri Mar are about the best quality in my opinion.
Belmont paints theirs
Bri Mar Powder Coats theirs.
Doo Little is a good trailer but every thing cost extra...
Ringo Heavy built and does a good job with custom builds.

Hey bud, I passed your store on the way to/from Hershey Park last week.

Was gonna stop in and give you a good harrassing :D, but there was no time for such shananigans.....oh, and the wife wouldn't allow it either.

Sorry, back on topic!

I had no idea trailers were so difficult to buy in NY. Come on down to PA, there's tons of them down here. Rick at Wallace is a nice guy to deal with.

Most likely a LOTTTT further then you want to go, but the county next to where I live, Lamar county Tx. seems to be the trailer factory capitol of the world. It is in the N/E part of Texas near the Okla. and Ark. borders. The 2 big plants are PJ trailers and Loadall trailers each with hundreds and hundreds of trailers in front of these factories. I'm told they will sell you one from the plant but I would check first. Then there are at least 50 smaller operations in the same area, these are usually guys who worked at the big plants and went out on there own. I know they sell from these smaller (1-20 man operations). They will also build one to your specs in about a week. The county seat is Paris Tx. but all the plants are in the rural part of the county. Just think of the stories you could tell your buddies about July heat in Texas, and you could tell your wife/family you are going to take them to Paris for vacation!
Good Luck! Jack

Found a local dealer for PJ trailers. Gonna check them out next week.

Question: looking for Loadall dealers--googled and found a manufacturer named Load Trail, Inc in Sumner TX? Is this Loadall? Turns out that there are local dealers here for Load Trail.

I have a Down 2 Earth, mentioned earlier, and like mine. It is a 20' 12k dual brakes. I bought it in Va. LED lights, zerk grease fitting on bearings, it has been a good one. Good luck in your search.

Should be, Sumner is the rural area where the trailer plants are.
