( KJ, I noticed the same thing. Days between new posts.
Maybe we all have our projects on hold awaiting the arrival of our f------ backhoes!!
I really miss my JD 1050! ) Now now Dave, it'll get here and you'll be so happy you won't even remember how bad it was waiting. Why, I'm almost over it now. I'll be posting some pics of what I did today. Tried to remove an old pine stump but got all the way to the BH limits and then had to cut off about 5 ft of the stump and leave the rest. The pics don't show how big it was, but below ground it was huge, and must have been way more below to still be that strong after my dig. ( We are busy selling those little orange Kioti critters and other hay related tools--I guess most consumers are busy using these new toys --Ken Sweet
) Ken, I'm glad to hear you're selling tractors. My dealer is doing pretty well also. Keep up the good work.
( I spent all day sunday tweaking my "new" $65 PHD, getting ready to install 2100' of horse fence. ) Mathey, you're going to be BUSY! You sure can find some bargains. I wish I could. Never seem to find any used implements of any quality around this area. ( I'll be all right, really I will. Well guess I can put another loop in the noose for something to do. ) Pilonidal, how much longer before you get the CK20? Sounds like you'll have a lot of hours on it fast like I did when you finally get it. Keep your chin up, at least you don't have a Pilonidal Sinus! LOL. ( So far we are VERY impressed with these machines. They seem to be so much tractor for the money!
Take care.) Hey Markioti and welcome to TBN! Always room for another person here. Yes, I have been extremely pleased with my CK20HST as it just goes all Dae Dong! Sell lots of tractors. ( Replacing a tach cable. DK35 230 Hrs. bcs ) Hi Justaplain, I haven't seen you in here much. Other than the tach cable (which seems pretty common among brands), how's that DK doing? I really like that tractor and the 40,45,55,65 too! Thanks for chiming in. ( Any Kioti news is better than none. If I had a digital camera I would drive you guys crazy with pictures. ) Richard (lablovers), why don't you break out that pocket change and buy a cheap digital camera. I'm tired of hearing how you "would show us some pictures, but I'm too cheap to buy a small inexpensive digital camera to share pictures with you strangers!" LOL Is Scott getting any seat time? Is the house ready to sell? Tell Scott and Glenda I said hello. ( I've been buiser than you know what!!!!!!!!
Got more than I can say grace over. ) I think that's great new Virgil. I hope you're making a buck or two! ( After pursuing some fruitless leads on some used tractors I'm currently getting quotes on a CK20HST. I've concluded based on my needs it's big enough.) I think you'll find is more than adequate. Just takes some learning how to do, so that it will do. It's amazing what this little beast can accomplish. I'm glad I was able to help you decide. I'm not sorry I got mine, you won't be either. ( Then I tried to remove an old rotten 12" stump from the area behind the barn where I want to park the tractor (and build the tractor shed). Problem is that it is about 20" dia below ground, with roots intertwined with the rock wall and the stones they used as fill. ) If you can get the BH in there and dig down just far enough, you should find that it's not solid, but a bunch of large roots. Cut those off and then through the rest of the body. Mine was about 4-5' down where I could do that. Sounds like the 3054 is doing you fine.
Thanks for all the replies guys, I feel better now! John
