I'm one of the people who have personally experienced Pat's "extra mile" customer service. I bgt a cat-1 PQH and ended up getting a tractor that needed a cat-2 hitch. I called Pat and they swapped them off without a word, me just paying the difference in the 2.
I would guess there are dozens of others who could come into this thread and give you great stories of Pat's exemplary customer service...but I doubt even Suncoast will come and give an example of bad customer service. Sure, he had a problem but it was immediately taken care of...and Pat even came into the thread and offered ANYTHING he could do to make it right. And there was also a very valid explanation of why there are now 2 versions of his hitch.
So that's why nobody really wants to hear the bad theories and possibilities about Pat because they don't believe them, there's way to much FACT to support that he does a great job on the hitches and the customer service. This forum community will take up for who they KNOW is doing a great job.
Now, on the other hand, you start showing some proof and facts about Pat where he repeatedly quits answering the phone, or repeatedly gives poor customer service or his hitches repeatedly begin to fail or not connect easily for whatever reason and I, and I believe many others will gladly call Pat to the mat and ask him publicly to address the issues. But until that happens, Pat has been as honest and forthcoming as they get and his product has done all it is advertised to do and nobody really cares to hear unfounded conspiracy theories.
