where is the number one cylinder on an Allis B?

When I tore this motor down I thought the no. 4 hole was the back of the motor. I have since seen pictures of the number one cylinder at the front. The plug wires were badly damaged/cut/taped, etc, so I just pulled the mag and destroyed them. I should have kept everything intact, stupid me. Can someone help me out on this? It's a 1948 Model B, Allis Chalmers.

#1 cylinder is the front one just behind the fan, firing order is 1-2-4-3

Thanks for the comeback Joe. That's the way I have it set up at the moment but was not confident. Eighteen months back when I started this project I went on line to look for service manuals and check reviews. I never felt confident that all the info I needed was put into one book. As it is only a project for an aging meteorologist I felt I didn't need another library, for such a small tractor. In retrospect, it may have been a good idea. I have, however, nearly completed the job through the excellent feedback from others like you. Thanks again.
