Where is the water going? Finding leaks in a slab house.

I didn't read all the replies but one I haven't heard someone say is a whole house humidifier set to max might be really thirsty, they just trickle down a media and down a drain off the return duct of the furnace.

We had a leak to find . There was no water showing so we started digging next to the main . Went all the way back to the meter . What we found was a copper main sitting on top of a steel natural gas line , Dissimilar metals caused corrosion . The lot was on a hill and the water was following the gas line ditch . It was coming out 5 houses down
