Where to find performance parts for chainsaws???

A rev limited coil doesn't hurt performance at all as saws should be run at 9000 to 10000 rpm in the cut, any more you not using all the hp a saw makes.. Maybe a highly modded race saw might need that unlimited coil. Steve

Even at 11000 which will take some really good porting to make max power how does a limited coil hurt power when they are limited at 12500 rpm to 13500 rpm. Steve

Hi everyone, wondering where to find performance parts for my MS461. I've been looking over the net, but i guess i'm not looking at the right places:laughing: I need an after market ignition coil that doesn't have the rev limiter in it. Thanks

That will do ya no good, unless it's ported and like said, is not needed. Muff mod is probably all ya need. Port and machine the cylinder if more power is needed.
