New Holland TC55DA
Hi all!

Does anyone happen to know a part number or any other info that would help me source a replacement top linkage for my TC55DA? I mean the bit that links the top of the three "points". Looks like a double ended threaded rod with a barrel in the middle that draws the ends together.

Thanks!

Edit: I should say, I tried looking on the parts diagrams for the "3pt lift" but do not see the part there!

Those are not proprietary you can use one and buy off the internet or a farm store. If your tractor has rear remote I strongly recommend getting a hydraulic top link

Thanks for the reply. OK. I looked at what they had in Tractor Supply, but none of them seemed to be an exact match. Is the hydraulic version hard to attach? I do have unused hydraulic ports back there. I've never messed with any of the hydraulics since I got it. How would I actuate it after hooking it up? Would it come with a controller? Is that what you mean by "remote"? Would I have to add additional hydraulic fluid? Thanks for your reply!

No I'm not familiar with the tc55. My tractor came with control levers for the rear remotes.

The main thing is do some research and figure out what length of top link you need. I would say it will need to be at least a 36 in., maybe longer, for that tractor.

If you can't find information online stop by a dealership that has a tractor that size on the lot and measure the top link.

The hose may work that come with the kit, which some come with hoses.

My hoses were a little too short and I had to have them made up at a hydraulic shop. I have about $450 in mine total with hoses.

You can buy the top link for around $260. This is the one I bought and I'm very happy with it.

If you're not planning to use a box blade much the hydraulic top link is not quite as necessary. But I've been using my box blade a lot over the past few weeks and I can't imagine not having hydraulic top.

The top link I'm looking to replace has a max length of ~31" (with both screws completely out) and a travel of ~12". It has a cat1 diameter attachment to the tractor and a cat2 diameter ring on the other end. Turns out I do already have hydraulic remote just sitting there not doing anything! So, I've taken tour advice and ordered a hydraulic top link. Here's the one I got:

I'll use a bushing to attach to the tractor. Should be good, right? I'm pretty excited actually! I hate fighting with this thing and it shakes loose over time. It'll be a pleasure to control it with a lever! And to think, I had the hookup there all the time!

Will I need to add hydraulic fluid after attaching to account for the added volume?
