Where to Find Spiral Hydraulic Hose Wrap?

I bought and installed this "wrap" about five years ago. It's VERY HD industrial grade wrap. Rather a ***** to get started and instal. Whatever - be careful as you instal. This stuff likes to slip and get your fingers caught between the wraps. It can give you a blood blister in a heart beat. Or, at least, a darn good pinching.

I have it installed on the hydraulic hose for the grapple on the front and the hydraulic top link in the rear.

No really great pics of just this hose wrap. You can see it on the hose( just left of dead center) in this pic. The hose & wrap are being held up with a bungee chord.

It looks like you crunched that saw in the grapple :shocked:

If you are looking for your saw, check your grapple. :shocked:

Ha, ha - you got me there, goeduck. I had to come back and, based upon your comment, check the uploaded picture. With the grapple fully closed there is still room for the saw. No, it's not a squeeze play. It's my big Stihl - MS280. Rare to have to take it somewhere on the property. I must have been out sawing up a downfall or felling a pine that died from beetle infestation.

Otherwise - I usually will have my small Stihl -MS192. The small one fits on the rubber floor mat with no problems.

The uploaded pic just happened to be the best one to show the spiral wrap.

Another vote for McMaster Carr. Looks like just under $20 for 10' of 13/16" ID UV resistant wrap. They will tack on a reasonable shipping charge.

Don't know the size of your local town, but a local hydraulic shop that services heavy equipment will have bulk stock....tell'm the OD of hose and how may feet.

Easy peasy.....no wait time.....wrapped all hoses on the loader for about 55 or 60 bucks and had a few spare feet for other stuff.......well worth it.....good luck....

These folks have a lot of different hose wrap. I've bought steel and plastic wrap several times.
