where to find used hay wagon?

Guess I keep forgetting that that 40 years may produce some changes. I was thinking of used car/truck tires and a very simple small capacity rated frame works. I keep forgetting things get much larger.

It's not that way around here.

Hardly anybody even bales hay in square bales any more. It's all in big round bales and they use a different type of trailer to move those. Not much tobacco around here, either, although a little bit of it is grown about 60 miles north of here.

The hay wagon and 2-ton farm truck are nearly things of the past.

I do wish they were cheaper but for the lightest gear anyone makes anymore (5 ton) they all want at least $1k just for the simple framework. Tires and mounting the tires are extra. The heavier gears are much more expensive /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

I bought this brand at a local farm supply store. It was reasonable. Maybe someone that sells new will have used.

If you don't mind, which model did you get and roughly how much was it (with or without tires).

There are still a few deals to be had around Ontario. I picked up this hay wagon in june for $125 at auction. I also purchased a newer 12 ton wagon with new PT deck and new floatation tires for $350 last April.
