Tiller Where to find used tiller in Ohio?

/ Where to find used tiller in Ohio? #11
I hear you! Went to an auction 2 weeks ago. They had a fairly decent 60' tiller (make unknown). Thought I might buyit. No luck. It sold for $1525.00 CDN. About $1900 U.S. These people went crazy. Got to wonder what makes them tick, or is that thick?

A sixty foot tiller huh? That sounds pretty cheap for one of those.
Can't imagine how many HP that would take. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Or do Canadians really use 60' to mean inches instead of 60" like down here in the states?

Buying used tiller is a good idea. Much cheaper than the new. Why pay more to a new tiller if the only change needed is tines which doesn't cost much.

Murph,
After thinking long and hard, I decided to pay a few hundred bucks more and buy a new one. I was concerned about wasting an entire day driving around hoping to find a used one that I would be happy with and wondering what condition it was in internally.
So I bought the King Kutter new at TSC. Small photo attached.
