The front tires on my 2520 keep losing air so I want to take the wheels in and have them repaired. Where is the best place the jack to lift it up, and to place axle stands. Is is ok to lift under the front differential. I have the front loader installed and I would prefer not to have to take it off just to take the front wheels off. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

Why not use your loader to lift it up then block it up.

I used the loader to raise the front end then jackstands under the axle. Works like a champ!
In my case, I was swapping the front wheels side to side to get a couple more inches of width. It helped too (just make sure how the wheel is dished before you do this).
The one time I jacked up the front end (loader was off), I used a 4x4 chunk under the weight bracket close to the tractor frame. I wouldn't want to jack under the axle itself.

When I need to lift the front of my 855 (I do this when shoving the mower under), unless the loader is attached I use a hi-lift type of jack on the weight bracket. Make sure the rear tires are blocked with the brakes on if using this type of jack, they aren't the most stable.

Very good point!!!!!

I had to replace the valve stem cores in both my front tires.
They would constantly loosen and leak.

I'm still in the habit of making sure they are tight every time I check air pressure. I constantly check air pressure because I'd have flat tires every time I went to use the tractor. I also don't like seeing bulges in the tires when I've got a heavy load in the bucket.
Check air pressure and stem cores , check engine oil level, start.
I guess it's a good habit.

Since we are on the topic of jacking the front end, what about the rear end? I know my wife is not going for the reasoning of needing a $5k backhoe to ease pulling the rear wheels(and it sure would!). The 4110 tech manual says to hoist the rear end and place the axles on jack stands, not much detail. To me it seems putting a block under the drawbar receiver and jacking the whole rear end makes the most sense. By axles is the manual referring to the final drives?

You may or may not need a block (depending on your jack), but jacking under the drawbar receiver (I call it a bracket) is exactly where you want to jack.
Please do use jackstands under the rear axle once the tires have cleared the surface.

I jack from the center under the drawbar all the time. You do need to be careful though because the front axle pivots, so if the loader is not mounted the tractor can list left or right.
