_____ Junkman. I see you are off your medications again!

Hey thanks for the concern on liability. I have paid almost $1,000 a year to cover me very well (hopefully) with the Bota Biz. Until I had the insurance, the tractor never left my property! I have a healthy respect for insurance..............

Thanks for the compliments going to the heartland..........

Best wishes,
Ron

"Thks for the replies. I agree on using a finish mower to cut ugly stuff, but my CFO probably wouldn't spring for a bush hog now......"

Well, be that as it may, you will be sorry, the MMM is not intended for and will not stand up to field mowing. It is very expensive and intended for finish mowing lawns. A cheap field cutter can be gotten for under 500 dollars and you could tear a pile of those up and still not have the investment in them one bad "accident" with a MMM would cost you. Some people will go to any expense to save a dollar /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif.

I set my wheels at the next to highest position for fescue, when I mow my back acerage--which compared to a "field" is really nearly lawn smooth I use it in the pinned up position because I like my "field" (lawn) in the back area to be higher. Anything that is remotely rough I use my hog. J
