Where to start? 30ish HP Utility Tractor

After some considerable searching, Dad has found a 2011 Kubota L4400 HST(?) 4x4 w/FEL. I don't know how many hours it has (or any other details), but the dealership seems to be standing firm on their $18,900 price.

Good tractor? Fair price?

Try looking at a Deere 5045E with power reverser and an H240 loader. I bet it will bring a smile to his face every time he uses it. I have a 5065E and its reliability has been awesome and is one handsome tractor.

Nice all around chore tractor with all the basic necessities. Not the fully-decked out Grand L, which are a heavier tractor with generally more capacities, but there are lots of L4400 owners that get great service from their tractors. Maybe a few will spot this thread and give first hand observations. I would figure it's hard to go wrong with that one if it's in good shape, and the price seems pretty good. Should be a great tractor for mowing or operating other pto driven attachments. Give it a good look and test run to make sure it's OK.
