ACTIVE: JDX730 DAYS GONE BY: JD3010, JD790, JD425
Good Morning from NH, cold, damp and rainy this morning. Did my last cut (one can only hope) this past weekend then my wife hands me this part this morning. Apparently in our gravel driveway outside the garage door where I keep the '21 JOHN DEERE X73O 2WD. Anyone have an idea, I'll be scanning the Parts Listings today. THANKS

Hum, can you show a photo of the whole part.

Hi Richard001, When I was cutting I somewhat bottomed-out and the locking mechanism opened. Had to re-engage the deck. Wondering if the piece is from the structure/attaching hardware from the frame to the Mower Deck. The 4728 PIC shows the threaded hole that doesn't go all the way through + solid end, same on the other end. 4729 shows the opposite side, no penetration, solid. I don't see any wear and tear on it. Thanks for responding

Looks like a part to lift the deck, similar to my three point.

Does your deck lift?

I was looking at the deck earlier from a distance and it looked like the lift was not level, I spent some time today looking at the JD Parts List diagrams, still looking for the lift linkage diagram, lots of stuff under there with these drive-over decks. Thank for responding

Have not found it yet either. Do you have a 3ph lift? What other pieces of equipment might you have, or who may have been on your property with something that dropped this part?

May not have anything to do with a tractor or piece of equipment, and just is a blind "nut" for a rod or bolt.

Looks like the pull handle from a grease gun.

I think Been and Alan have good ideas.
I have a partial limestone drive/parking and I am surprised at the things that I find after a rain or some event that disturbs the rocks.

One day I looked down at something shinny at my feet and found a key ring with 2 keys on it. I recognized it as the keys to a relatives snowmobile. He dropped them ...about 10 years earlier, and 3 people helped search the rock parking area but never found them.

ALAN W. - You are the WINNER! I was just about to say it might be M141752 in the 3-point hitch and then I saw your post. YUP, I did hit the grease fittings before mowing...... BTW not a fan of the deck's fixed front rollers, always freezing up, should be a swivel. THANKS ALAN W - I will sleep a bit better tonight, never know what a small PIVOT like part can do, catastrophic failure, etc.... this time a simple grease gun pull handle. THANKS to everyone else looking for me, have a great day !
