If you can try each of them out that would be a plus. Different hoes do feel...well, different. I've found the Woods hoes are a bit jumpy (I've got one myself and use one at work), but are really nice once you get used to them.
I do strongly recommend a subframe. Mine has one. The BH9000 at work does not. I've had the hoe at work come off the tractor at work when the top link pin broke (that was a bit scary). Must have been a defective pin - the thing just sheared off. Never expected a 3/4" metal rod to do that. Point being is that would not be possible with the subframe. Adds a lot of structural integrety.
