When are we gonna get some CUTs and PTs of similar size together with some piles of dirt, heavy brush and nice lawns and have some side by side real world tests? :)

And don't forget working ACROSS a 20 degree slope ;)

These PT vs CUT discussions bring back memories of ridding with my cousins in their Ford forty years ago. While the destination varied the ride was always the same. Drinking beer and arguing about why Fords were so much better than Chevys. They all owned Fords and they argued amongst themselves on the same side of the argument. I never would have rode with them if I had been old enough to buy my own beer. I must have learned something from the arguments. I have never owned a Ford or a Chevy.

In this day and age, that statement is soooo politically incorrect.... I love it!!!! :D

If someone can arrange it, it must CERTAINLY be videotaped, so that the evidence is recorded for posterity... though I doubt anything other than first-hand experience would sway some of these "non-belivers".... ;) :)

MR - your test isn't extensive enough. It needs 1000 ft. of wire fence to be run with post driver, another 1000 with auger and post & rail, dirt and horse manure moved, a garden tilled, and 3 pastures mowed. One PT and implements and one CUT with 3-point implements. I have just the place for the test, if you know someone with a CUT, post driver, auger, bucket & mower. The PT will be long put away while the CUT is still attempting to attach implements, and my wife will be happy that some of the work she's been bugging me about has been done. :D

Moss Rd.,

You're on, man. Just leave your PT (and all the attachments) at my place for a couple months and I'll let you know how it goes.

Well Charlie, if you want to have the contest out on 20-25 degree slopes, I have just the place, and I could sure use some help on the fencing! But maybe y'all shouldn't have all the fun. Huck Finn where are you now?

All the best,

Peter
