Which engine is in your Yanmar

OK, here is an updated PDF. As you can see, we almost have them all with the exception of 1300D, 18xx series, and 2620 & 3110 series. Also, the 3220 & 4220 have the same engine???

Yes, they do have the same engine, the difference is the 42 has a TURBO ! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I sell Yanmars, so I have this chart on my website for customers to compare models. I don't really care too much about the engine number (unless parts are needed), but it can't hurt to add it to my chart.

Some of the information on the attachment is wrong. The first number of the engine number is the number of cylinders (i.e. 3TN tractors have a 3 cylinder tractor (t) engine). My FX28D is a 4 cylinder.
