Which Kubota

Thanks for the post, stvman. I may indeed find exactly what you found regarding arrogance in price when I get to the point of trying to get the best deal. Right now, I am doing exactly what you describe.... SImply doing my homework and making sure that I know all of the options, different models, etc. I figure in a few weeks, I'll tackle the price issue. If there's a huge difference in price between the local dealers and the internet dealers, and if their attitude is one of arrogance, I'll probably buy one from an internet dealer.

I think I have my choice in tractor narrowed down to the following:

Kubota- B-2910HSD 4WD Tractor with R'4 tires
Kubota- LA-402FL Loader with 54" bucket
Heavy Duty Alternator
Block heater
New "Curtis" Hardsided Cab
****** With the following options added
1- Heater
2- Switch panel/fuse block kit
3- (2) side mirrors
4- (2) front and (2) rear worklights
5- Defrost and cooling fan
6- Strobe Light

72" rear discharge,rear mount finish mower.
Methanol/Water Ballast in the tires sufficient to withstand 40 below zero

Anyone have any thoughts on this configuration? Anything I might have missed?
