Which lathe is this?

That might not be a south bend. I have a 15" screen and blew it up so that I can almost read it. If you have a large screen try that. The price seems high to me, but keep in mind I'm old and everything is way to much.I just can't adjust to how $10.00 is the same as a dollar was.

My south bend was all gear drive and they would break. also was hard to find then.

I blew it up on my screen and can read South Bend on the left side.

George, I did that too - in the process of doing that, I did some relative screen measurements based on that switch box being a standard size - if so, it looks like the lathe is either 12 x 36 or 13 x 40, and the chuck works out to 6".

I would be careful checking it all out before I'd give that much for it, as previously mentioned - for me, it would depend on whether I wanted a lathe to USE or one to become another PROJECT  considering the age, I'd guess that one might be more project than "runner"... Steve
