Travis,
I have the Bush Hog RDTH 72 and my dealer in TN sold it for $1700; the anti-scalp roller is a good option on this model also. My dealer did not have this model in stock at the time of purchase, but since BH is made in Alabama, it only took 3 days to get from date of order.
This is a really solid unit (7 guage steel) that seems stouter than FDR 16 model LP. However, I liked the FDR 25 better than the BH due to the more tapered design, higher blade tip speed, and air/slime filled tire option. Reason I got the BH was because it was cheaper than the FDR 25, the dealer I bought my tractor from at the time was not a Landpride distributor, and I financed it @ 0% with my tractor.
That said, I am very happy with the BH - it runs very quiet and gives a great cut. I just need to find some compatable air filled tires which I think would provide a smoother ride with less shock over bumps.
Not trying to sell you on BH, because BH, LP, and Woods are all good units - though Bob Skura would swear Befco RFMs are hands down the best (surprised he hasn't chimed in yet). You just have to see what is the best option in your area...
If you are still interested in the BH and want pics, just let me know.
