Been there done that. It is frustrating.
My technique is as follows with my BH90x:
1) after removing the end and side links from the 3pt, I back up and get as close as possible to centered on the hoe. This is important as you cannot adjust it again. Hook up the hydraulics and remove the safety pin from the main boom but leave the swing pin locked.
2) start with the bottom connection on the subframe. Don't worry about the top, just focus on the bottom. Use the stabilizers to get the height of the bottom just under the subframe. You may find you need to move the tractor a few inches to get it closer. Once the subframe and BH mount are very close, use the stabilizers and main boom to push and mate the lower connection. There is a slot and a cup on the subframe that needs to mate on each side.
3) now focus on the top. It should be fairly easy compared to the fussy adjustments needed on the bottom. If the lower linkage is in place, you just need to use the main boom and sometimes push with the dipper to pivot the whole thing up. Get it in place and then make the fine adjustment needed to get the captured bolt through the mount.
4) the castle nut is self explanatory but make sure the retaining pin goes on. That's it.
I have done it dozens of times and it is never a quick and easy process. I allow 30 minutes start to finish and am often spending more time. Key is to go step by step and not try to line everything up at one.
Center, hydraulics, lower points, upper points and finally captured bolt and castle nut. Break it down to those small tasks and it will go together. Don't be surprised if it takes some fiddling.
Good luck.
