Which YM 1500 should I buy?

Well, the plot thickens. I sent an email to Tom Fredricks in Hartselle. He replied that he would sell me a 1500 with tiller, new bush hog, new box blade and 4 suitcase weights for $3600. Includes 6 month warranty.

I'm almost certain I'm going to get this one.

I know I'm late getting in on this, but I just purchased a 3110d from Tom Fredricks. I don't think you will go wrong dealing with him.They seem to have parts in stock and were nice to deal with.

I bought my YM1500 from Tom about 3 years ago. While under warranty the fuel tank split. They gave me a new one no questions asked. A+ from me for Fredrick's. Plus being about 8 miles from the house makes it even nicer.

You might want to look at some better models from Fredrick's. I go with one that has a water pump and the power shift transmission.........I hear the 1610 is a Great little tractor.......Cost a little more but get a whole lot more tractor...

Well, I called and he had sold the 1500. I sent emails to Fredricks and Artec. Each one offered a 1500 with tiller, new bush hog and new box blade, plus suitcase weights for $3600.
Fredricks offers a 6 mo. warranty...Artek does not give warranty. However, Artek is only about 30 minutes away...Fredricks is over an hour. I think Artek also installs a pto overrun clutch and a piece to go on the 3pt hitch. (a top link, I think, does this sound right?)

So, what do you think...Artek or Fredricks?

Fredrick's you have six months to break it! I made sure I had a bunch of digging to do around the pond in that first six months. Fredrick's delivered mine for free and didn't even wait for the check to clear picked it up from the wife when they delivered the tractor. Not sure if they would charge you to deliver.

I also called Artec,and ended up getting my tractor from Fredricks because of the warranty. He also installed top linc-new seat and other new itens. I don't think you can beat his 6 mo. warranty. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
