Not quite.......

"617cc (23 hp) liquid cooled, twin cylinder, 4-cycle Kawasaki gas engine has more horsepower for incredible power through any terrain"

Last I checked, ALL the 50 HP and down tractors were either Japanese, Korean, or Indian. I don't believe there's a US built John Deere Diesel under 50 HP..............But I could be wrong......Wouldn't be the first time.

engine isn't made here.....the rest is built in Illinois....

With the exception of the engine/transmission (it's one setup on them, ya know), both the Kawasaki Teryx and Yamaha Rhino are made in the USA...

I just had a similar discussion with my FIL about the Nissan Frontier pickup I just bought. He's retired from Chrysler, and was giving me a hard time about buying a foreign truck...

So, I asked him which was more "American or Made-in-USA" --

a. The Dodge Dakota QC that I traded in, which was made in Windsor Ontario
b. The Dodge Ram QC that I traded in on the Dakota, which was made in Mexico, or
c. The Nissan Frontier I just bought, made in Symrna Tennessee....

Meanwhile, I'm happy with both the Nissan and my Rhino 450...

Good point KentT. Thats why I always check the vin number on the vehicle I will be getting to make sure I know where it was built. We are at the end of an empire.

Last I knew, Kawasaki has a couple of engine assembly plants in Missouri and Nebraska, don't know if they specifically assemble Gator engines. Also last I heard, Gators are assembled in Horicon, WI. As for other components, that's too long a list for here.
