White 2-65/Iseki T7000??

Hi,

Anyone have experience with this tractor. I'm looking at a used one w/4wd and considering it for loader work, pulling a transplanter, pulling harvest wagons and other misc. work on a vegetable farm.

No I,m not familiar with that model . but heres a link to some for price comparison . they look like pretty good tractors to Me. not sure if there made by iseki or not. but I have 2 isekis & have no complaints . Bob

We had a white 2-65 for a number of years. It had a heavy duty westendorf loader on it. The problem was the loader was probably too strong for the tractor. When we would lift a big bucket of dirt, you could see the tractor bend a bit by looking at the gap between the hood and the cowl area. The part that bends is the engine and bellhousing area. Ours lasted a few years before spinning some of the main bearings. We rebuilt the engine, then started hearing a noise in the trans. After that, we bought a used Case 5130 and sold the 2-65. I think with a lighter loader, say one that will lift no more than 1500#, it might have been OK. We used it about 3000 hr. from brand new. Another annoying feature was the top speed was only about 13 mph. I have a skid loader that is almost that fast! It also always seemed a bit under powered and the dealer dynoed it at a whopping 58hp.

Thanks for the comments. After looking at the machine I decided to pass as it was to put it politely very well used.
