White River flooding

White rivewr is way out of banks due to all the rain we just had. The water is almost over my driveway.

Whoa, waterfront property. <font color=blue>"Crest tonight"</font color=blue> How much higher? Looks like you got 6 to 8 feet to spare. I bet you haven't missed a weather report for a bit. Hope you get some sunshine soon. Pretty place Jim.

Sure hope not. Hope everything at your place is going to be OK. I only got about a third of an inch of light rain off and on all day yesterday with just a little breeze, while some places within 50 miles have had flooding, wind damage, and even a small tornado.

Al, just got the report it has crested at 34 feet .Flood stage is 26 feet. It should start receeding now. Thank goodness

Yikes..that would make me worry some.

The rivers up here never been so low..heck there wasn't any ice jams this year to watch.

Hope the White River crest today and warmer on the way for you folks.

There must be a lot of "White Rivers". I grew up near one in central Indiana. It too would flood periodically. Hope it's heading back down for you /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I saw this on the Little Rock channel 4 news.. hopin it receded quite a ways.. looks like there is more on the way Jim..
