Oil & Fuel white smoke from exhaust

/ white smoke from exhaust #11
I had water in the fuel, just enough to give a puff of white smoke now and then. Never did see a drop of water in the sediment bowl. Drove me nuts for two years until I found a clogged filter INSIDE the fuel tank. Re-engineered all the filters, no more water problems.

the engine does not sputter at all on start up. when I started it yesterday, I had an initial puff of smoke but it appeared to be mostly dark. could be that I was seeing the smoke against a light colored wall in the carport.
would adding the treatment that gets rid of water in diesel help (or at least not hurt) my situation?

An ounce of "Seafoam" per gallon and a splash more will solve that issue for you nicely. FWIW the Racor fuel filter system will give you excellent filtering results and fuel free of water as well.
