Tractor
Case-IH Farmall 45A, Kubota M8540 Narrow, New Holland TN 65, Bobcat 331, Ford 1920, 1952 John Deere M, Allis Chalmers B, Bombardier Traxter XT, Massey Harris 81RC and a John Deere 3300 combine, Cub Cadet GT1554
The 7020 and 8020 look like New Hollands and I know NH sells base units to some companies for special application units but I have not heard of them selling tractors to another tractor company. Farm pro tractors

Those are Chinese Jinmas or Kamas that copied the look of the NH hoods. I've also seen a couple photos of blue ones and had to do a double-take to realize I wasn't looking at a NH.

I've read somewhere that there was a suit to prevent continued production of them with blue paint.

I would have thought NH would have prevented them from using the hood as well since that is a Fiat/New Holland look. Thanks for the info as I was wondering about these tractors for a couple days since I saw them in Fastline. Take care.

You'd also think they would prevent them from using RED paint as that makes them look very similar to Case/Farmall tractors!!!

No matter how you look at it, buying one of these tractors is supporting the communist Chinese governement and that alone is reason for me not to buy one. It is also why I won't shop at Wal Mart. Heck Wal Mart is fully 1% of the entire Chinese economy and buying imported socks, shirts and whatever else is a nice little way to save a buck and put tax paying Americans out of work, and oh yea, it is also supporting a communist country that has serious conflicts with our own nation.

They may also be Chinese Fotons, which I think is the brand New Holland had the suit with.

They're assembled in the US... and the distributor behind them (Homier) has a very good customer support record for the tons of other products the distribute.

The parts are made by Jinma in China.

They have a decent warranty... just as good as any other manufacturer.

Specs are as good as anything else out there in their class... if there was a reputable local dealer around I'd consider buying one. Without a good local dealer, forget it.

I could care less where the parts are made. Every tractor vendor today (NH, JD, Kubota, etc...) has parts are made outside the US, mostly in Japan, who subcontracts a ton of parts business to India, China, Taiwan, and elsewhere.

Labor cost drives the manufacturing business in this direction, and quite arguably, everyone in the entire chain benefits from a better quality of life as a result.

I'll still put my $ on Foton as the manufacturer of the large cab unit pictured. The attatched is the Rural King tractor, I believe also made by Foton

Google 'Homier Jinma' and see what happens.
Seems like these are the Farm Pro '10' series to me. Northern also sells Jinma...

Google 'Homier Foton' and see what happens.
Seems like these are the Farm Pro '20' series to me.

So... Homier is distributing BOTH of these big Chinese brands...

Seems like a good business to me, so long as you can solve the support problem adequately. Nothing worse than a bunch of whiny angry tractor-owners chasing after you...

I'm 100% with you on that Bob. However, it's not that simple. If you go to an expensive men's store and buy old, established "American" brands, you may also be getting Chinese goods. Maybe just the textiles, or even the entire thing is made in China, and aren't necessarily clearly marked.

Japan, Korea, European and latin American countries aren't our friends either. They gladly sell us their tractors and goods, but are highly restrictive on what we can sell there.

I would venture to say that even old line manufacturers like JD and Cat import many of their parts. The best we can hope for is probably a 50% American tractor.

My $18,000 tractor and implement purchase probably would have cost $36,000 if it were 100% made in America. That would have put it squarely in the "unaffordable" bracket.
