Who carries the best warranty on tractors?

Hello All,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but who carries the best or longest warranty? Looking at buying something in the 55-60HP Range with a bucket.

Remember, the warranty actually has to cover what breaks. It's been my experience that drivetrain or power train warranties don't cover near as much as you'd think. (IMHO)

IF you have to finance, Kubota's KTAC insurance is pretty incredibly good and may, in reality, be better than a warranty in the long-run.

So how many people have had a major problem that was covered by warranty that would have already expired which a different brand warranty? I’m guessing it’s not very many. I wouldn’t let this be a major decision factor.

FWIW, Rural King says this about its warranty:

"All RK Tractors come with a 2-year full-machine warranty and an industry leading 8-year powertrain warranty; parts & labor included, with no deductible. No tractor brand offers a better warranty."

Exactly. It wasn’t even something that crossed my mind when I bought mine, they are all very similar in nature, buy the tractor that fills your needs and your comfortable with, chances are you aren’t going to use the warranty anyway and if you do it will early on after your purchase for something that was defective from the get go.

A written warranty is only as good as the dealer or company standing behind it. Some dealers will give superb service in the name of customer service. Others might say the part was abused and is not covered. Doesnt matter if it is a truck, tractor, car or boat.

And note the loader isn't part of the tractor and is covered by a separate warranty, typically only 1 year. I would value the loader warranty matching the 5, 6, 7 whatever years on rest of machine a LOT more than 12-24 months powertrain on brand X vs Y.

I wouldn't give a hang about the warranty. Sometimes making them make good is a real problem.

I'd ask the question about who's the most troublefree tractor around. Getting stuff fixed on warranty is a pain. Better to not have anything needing to be fixed. I'm a whole lot happier with my 2025R that hasn't required a thing, like its 4010 cousin before it vs. numerous calls to JD to fix stuff on my 1025R.

A dealer that has a good relationship with the manufacturer and who is willing to go the mile for you makes or breaks the warranty itself. Ive had stuff covered after warranty by the good relationship between the dealer and the manufacturer. And this willingness to get on the phone and work for me comes from my loyalty as a customer.

Best bet is to buy something with good enough reliability that you don't need to work on it! Manufacturers of lawn mowers realize that only 40 hours a year for a home owner. compacts are currently only 100 hours a year so 8 years would be expecting 800 hours! Talk to the local commercial guy who might put 1,000 hours or more a year and see what he buys and how long he keeps his! He can't afford to be broken down when he has work!
