Thank you. As for the warrantee, it has whatever is remaining on the factory warrantee. The sale guy told me while we where looking at it, and when he tried to sell me an extended warrantee, but I honestly don't remember what it was.

The 2000 Dodge I drove as a company vehicle got a transmission rebuild at 142,000 miles. It wasn't that bad but it slipped some. Otherwise, it got the usual brake jobs, a new windshield at around 200,000 (rocks), a few minor things. Two small wrecks (of which I was not driving either time fortunately) last time I saw it at 265,000 miles it was still going. It looked kinda sad, having never spent a day in a garage.

Around that time, the Dodge/Chrysler van transmissions had a bit of a bad reputation. On my 1998 Chrysler, I changed the transmission fluid around 60 or 70k, even though it wasn't on the maintenance schedule. Last I heard it was going strong at over 200k. I suppose the transmission is a lot different now, but I wouldn't go over 100k on any automatic transmission without a fluid change.

Apparently the rebuild was a good one, as it was still going strong at 265,000.
