That one counts as lucky to me rather than stuck... We left our reception in a similar fashion, but in a Deere.

Sorry no picture because this happened in "the before time". A friend and I were hunting in the Owyhee mountains in Southern Idaho. We were in his 69 bug. Everything was great until it started raining, snowing and blowing... the bug sunk to the running boards, stuck beyond rescue. We had to pull the battery and hike about 20 miles out, leave the bug for the winter. Next spring (basicly summer), hiked in, dug it out, put the battery in and drove it out. Ahhh, to be young and dumb again...

Not me but we were clearly the first in spring to camp at Sloat (near Cromberg) which is 2/3 of the way from Truckee to Quincy on the Feather River. NE California, backwoods logging country. This was our overnight base camp before seeing if it was too early to go in the 20 miles of unmaintained logging roads to our mining claim, way up the canyon.

At the primitive campsite we found a complete keyring - car keys, house keys, everything - that were tarnished and had probably been hidden under the snow after some unlucky hunter gave up looking for them the previous fall. We hung them on a peg in a tree near the fire pit where if the owner ever returns, he will be sure to see them. I wonder how he got back out to civilization. I wonder how long it took him.

My only stuck that I couldn't (eventually) drive out of. I had to use the backhoe curl to gently tug the little guy out of entanglement with the downhill fence:

Gotta have TWO Yanmars!

Sorry no pictures here either, but I crossed a seasonal creek earlier in the day, a few weeks ago, and when coming back across creek I sunk the front wheels of my GC1715 up to point mud was over top of front axle and rear transmission case was sitting on the mud... In FWD low range and rear axle locker "locked", nope ain't going to move.... Took my 4,000 JEEP (TJ) and big winch to drag it out after I figured out how to stop JEEP from sliding... 10,000 winch is great, but unless it is anchored solid, its not much use....
