Not I.

I was reading through the general maintenance schedule chart (I know, exciting life, but it's too cold to go outside here at minus 10F this morning) and came across few things I had never thought of doing. The Kioti recommendation is to CHANGE the radiator hose, power steering hose and oil line, fuel line and intake air hose every TWO YEARS. My DK40se is now eight years old with 500 hrs and I haven't even considered changing those items. All look in reasonable condition. All I have done is fluids, filters, lube and about every three years give it a coolant flush and change.

Has anyone been following the book recommendations on stuff like this?

My last tractor was over 20 years old before I replaced 1 power steering line all others lines were still original after 23 years when I sold it.

I don't waste money replacing hoses unless they leak or appear to be degraded. One of my cars is a 2003 and all original hoses and per my mechanic, they are all still good. I did have him replace the serpentine fan belt at 100K miles along with the spark plugs but nothing else.
As for a tractor, any breakage is not going to strand you in the middle of a desert like an automobile might so just fix it if it breaks or shows indications of decay.
I cant believe the mfg. recommend to CHANGE the radiator hose, power steering hose and oil line, fuel line and intake air hose every TWO YEARS. Kioti dealers must really need the money for labor or parts for those recommendation.

With regards to water hoses on cars it is cheap insurance versus losing one on the highway away from home

I replaced all on my 1986 GN as they were original 2 years ago.

Not worth losing one

Hydraulic lines last a long time

Baking in sun can speed up degradation

Glad to hear that fellow TBNers are not lemmings following the Kioti manual on this stuff either.

My CK30hst is 10 years old now and after yearly checks, all my hoses still look good. The only thing I'm changing this year is the fan belt. Almost out of adjustment but still works fine.

My 2006 DK35 has all original hoses, etc (except for the one I damaged in the woods). 1600 Hrs. on the clock.

I think that's a translation problem (should say check). The original owners' manual for my 2006 DK45s also says to change them but a newer manual says to just check them. The power steering hoses flex so they could fail over time with plenty of use. I decided to buy spare radiator hoses (to have as spares) as my original 10-year-old hoses show signs of wear (and they are cheap). I'll worry about the steering hoses later, if I see leaks. But do check the belt tension. Belts stretch and get hard, that would probably manifest as alternator not charging.

I've had 2 different radiator hoses leaks one on the lower one above the exhaust the other on the one on top of the engine both were loose hose clamps. Haven't replaced anything yet
