Ali, during my life. Everyone since him has been a significant step down in talent. Tyson or Louis could have knocked Ali out if they caught and tagged him, but if he stayed out of range, he would easily have outpointed either and possibly could have knocked either out in late rounds.

Sugar Ray Leonard was the most exciting I've seen in the lower weight classes.

I guess there is a common thing about them both that I liked and that is so rare: blinding foot and hand speed. Tyson had blinding power punch arm speed if he got in close, but he was a foot-plodder and couldnt box at a distance.

With Ali's style, I don't think Tyson would have ever gotten in close enough to bite his ear. IMHO, in his prime Ali would have pummeled Tyson. And, oh yes, I vote for Ali. When all is said and done, he redefined the sport.

As far as I am concerned Georg Foreman in his prime was probably the hardest puncher of all times,you look at what he did to Joe Frazier,he literally lifted both of Fraziers feet off of the canvas with an uppercut .Then Ali fought Foreman and layed on the ropes and took everything Foreman could give him (welcome the rope a dope) Foreman punched himself out and Ali layed it on him,sure I realize if Foreman had tagged Ali just right he would have taken him out,but I personally do not think Tyson hits as hard as Foreman did. Ali even said the breeze off of Foremans punch would lower the temperature 20 degrees.

For hard punches, Rocky Marciano has been touted by a number of experts (I'm certainly not one) as the hardest of all time. He used to hit his opponents' arms hard enough and often enough that they'd stop working. The head was then unprotected.
Marciano retired undefeated, and not seriously challenged, I understand. Hard record to top.

Knew I had it around somewhere. Figure it'll be valuable if he ever gets elected to president. If not, she's still cuter than Ali or Ray Leonard.
