Who makes Craftsman \'Fairway Series\' line?

Anyone know who makes the Fairway Series line of riding mower from Sears/Craftsman??? This seems to be a 'new' line for them, different than the other riders they're selling. The 24HP 48" cut model has a turning radius of 18" - MUCH improved over their other models that turn more like a 30" radius.

Here are the models I'm asking about. Who makes these?

Don't know, but I would guess American Yard Products (AYP), a part the same company (Electrolux) as Husqvarna since they make the rest of Sears machines except the ZTR. The Sears ZTR is a "one generation old design" made by Simplicity.

It's very difficult to keep up with who is making what for Sears. They go out on bids and contract with companies to manufacture certain lines of products, and it changes continually. The mfg makes the product according to the bid specs.

Good luck finding out specifics, but likely the Series you ask about is one mfg for as long as it lasts.
